Mike Weaver, President

As President for M&W Electric, Mike is responsible for the overall leadership, development of resources, and financial performance.

With a career of over 30 years' experience in construction, Mike started his electrical career in 1986. In leading the business development efforts and general operations, he gained a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of the electrical business. Since founding M&W in 1990, Mike has been a key player in many of the company’s ongoing business development, operations, growth, and performance efforts. His diverse industry experience features a variety of project types including residential, educational, hospitality, restaurant, nonprofit, large industrial, healthcare, retail, and specialty buildings.

Mike is dedicated to improving the electrical industry. He volunteers for the National Electrical Code and Standards making panel, and the Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee. Mike recently served 2 terms on the Oregon Electrical Board. He is currently president of the National Electrical Contractors’ Association for the Oregon Pacific Cascades Chapter.

Mike is married with two adult children and resides in Corvallis. When he is not working, Mike enjoys camping, hunting, fishing and playing pickup basketball games with friends. Mike also spends his time coaching 3 different sports each year for Special Olympics.

Joe Emmons, Project Manager

As Project Manager at M&W Electric, Joe is responsible for total project management, including controlling budgets, negotiating subcontracts, and providing day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs stay on schedule and within budget. With over 18 years of construction experience, he has developed strong working relationships with multiple repeat clients, delivering exceptional service and upholding M&W’s core values for positive construction experiences.

After completing his apprenticeship with the IBEW, Joe worked as a journeyman electrician and foreman for 12 years. Joe joined the M&W team in 2005 and has had the privilege of working on projects such as Hamlin Middle School, ODVA Edward C. Allworth Veterans' Home and Long Timber Brewing.

Outside of M&W, Joe enjoys spending time with his family, working around the house, golfing, boating and elk hunting.

Mark Weaver, Service Manager

At M&W Electric, Service Manager Mark Weaver is responsible for providing precise budgets, accurate scheduling, and day-to-day communication with the project team to ensure jobs remain on schedule and within budget. As a team player, Mark holds an excellent track record of working with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong working relationships with owners, property managers, and facility engineers, resulting in an exceptional construction experience for everyone involved.

With over 28 years of residential and commercial electrical experience, Mark has a broad background in construction scenarios, construction management, cost plus fixed fee, and hard bid. His range of experience includes occupied environments and involves many different project types including design-build, site improvement, remodel, tenant improvement, and ground-up.

Throughout his career, Mark has had the opportunity to serve clients such as Hendrix heating, G. Christianson Construction, The City of Corvallis and Shonnard's Nursery.

Outside of M&W, Mark is an avid classic car collector. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his Doberman, Dura.

Adam Zurcher, Shop Manager

Adam Zurcher is one of our Shop Managers at a Satellite location in Bend, Oregon. He started with M & W Electric as a first period apprentice back in 2005. He spent the next 7 years with the company training on a variety of installs from Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and motor control systems. In 2012, the Bend economy was struggling to recover, and Adam moved his family to the oil field in Watford City, ND. To start his own Electrical Contracting company. In North Dakota, Adam gained more experience in management. Running large crews on large projects all over the State. From installing street lights for City projects, to Irrigation and farm equipment. Oil field motor controls, residential wiring, and everything in between.

In 2018, Adam moved his family back to Bend, Oregon, bringing his gained expertise back to the M & W Electric family. With Bend’s economy back to firing on all cylinders, Adam had his hand in re establishing our customer base in Central Oregon. He now operates that branch, bringing excellent customer service, and personalized care to all customers in the area. M & W concentrates mostly on Residential, commercial, and small industrial projects in Bend. Irrigation and farmstead included.

Outside of M & W Electric, Adam enjoys nothing more than spending time with his family. He and his wife have identical twin boys keeping them busy at every turn. Adam enjoys watching them grow, and looks forward to teaching them to hunt, fish, and stop stealing each other's toys!!!

Zac Young, Project Manager

Zac has 15 years in the construction field. The previous 12 years have focused primarily in the Leadership roles in Project management concentrated on financials, Contract management, procurement, and Execution. Zac was a Western Region Facilities Project Manager for a large tech firm for 10 years before deciding to take a more hands approach in a Project Management role in the Electrical field. Along with an all-inclusive Project Management role with M&W, Zac is eager and learning to be a part of the Estimating team.

Personally, Zac enjoys being with his family, wife of 9 years, 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. He has a passion for all outdoor activities, specifically Rafting and Hunting.
